HTC One ME: enhanced resolution and new MediaTek chip

HTC launches, initially in China, a new high-end smartphone that the screen displays a higher resolution than the iconic One M9.

HTC has already shown in solving the first One, which offered its competitors as a Full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, but stood by a diagonal of 4.7 inches, less than the 5-inch Samsung Galaxy S4 and Sony Xperia Z.

He is back this year with One ME, a high-end smartphone for the Chinese market: when most phones art, such as LG G4 sport a QHD display (2560 x 1440 pixels) of more or less 5 , 5 inches, the latest HTC sticks to 5.2 inches, a resolution of 565 pixels-per-inch. The Samsung Galaxy S6 did even better with its 5.1-inch screen, but the new Chinese flagship HTC is better than the One M9 Western (5 inch Full HD or 440 pixels-per-inch).

The HTC One ME is content in exchange for a plastic shell. But it also presents the particularity of using the latest chip MediaTek of Taiwan, instead of Snapdragon 810 One M9: Helio X10, which includes two four Cortex-A53 ARM cores at 2.2 GHz, a PowerVR G6200 GPU at 700 MHz and a 4G LTE modem category 4 (150 Mb / s) dual SIM. This chip is associated with 3 GB of RAM LPDDR3 memory, 32 GB of internal memory, expandable via a microSD card. The Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.1 and NFC connectivity complement.

In terms of the picture finally, this HTC One ME has a dorsal sensor 20 megapixels topped with a lens equivalent to a 27.8 mm f / 2.2, and a front sensor UltraPixel 4 megapixel lens with an equivalent to a 26.8 mm f / 2.
