Like its competitors, HTC disclaims phone standard bearer, the One M8. After presenting a miniature version, the One Mini 2, it now reveals a close variant, the One M8 Ace.
The HTC One M8 Ace is an economical alternative to the original. It is distinguished primarily by its shell, made entirely of plastic and aesthetic closer to the first HTC One, the M7.
Its specifications are otherwise identical, except it exchanges the second dorsal sensor for a few megahertz. He spends more precisely two sensors UltraPixel to 4 million pixels, that modify the design posteriori to point to a single sensor to 13 megapixels. In return the four cores of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 chip from 2.3 to 2.5 GHz. We find the Full HD LCD 5-inch screen (but presumably without Gorilla Glass), 2 GB of RAM, 16 or 32GB of internal memory, the same connectivity, etc.
The HTC One M8 Ace will be initially launched in China on June 3, at an undisclosed price. It will probably be available in the rest of the world in a second time, at least through importers.
