HTC formalizes its One Max in the US

After numerous leaks about its hardware features, the HTC One Max is now officially the United States and thus complete the family of Android smartphones from the manufacturer.

According to various US media manufacturer HTC has finally made official today the new flagship of its range One with PHABLET 5.9 inches which is placed alongside the One (4.7 inches) and One Mini (4, 3 inches). Recently, several rumors speculating on its components and hundreds have proven accurate.

Besides a diagonal of nearly 6 inches with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels, the HTC One Max gets the aluminum chassis of the other models and will in turn powered by a quad core Snapdragon SoC 600 new generation clocked at 1.7 GHz and supported by 2GB of RAM. Two versions of 32GB and 64GB will be available. Note the presence of a microSD card reader.

Like the iPhone 5S, the terminal features a fingerprint reader. The latter is placed on the back, just below the sensor’s 4 MP camera – the same as on the HTC One with the UltraPixel technology. The device will come with a 3300 mAh battery and an optional cover available includes an additional 1200 mAh battery.

On the software side, the smartphone will be equipped with Android 4.3 and the HTC Sense 5.5 layer. For the latter HTC revised its topical application BlinkFeed with the possibility to configure its own RSS feed. For next terminal, HTC has not embedded the Dropbox app by default. The One Max will come with 50GB of Google Drive storage free for two years.

The HTC One Max will be sold by Verizon and Sprint across the Atlantic operators. More information on its availability in Europe and its selling price should be disclosed in the course of the week.
