HTC has formalized this morning the Desire 510, he presents as his first 4G smartphone mid-range, but has especially the distinction of being the first market to exploit the 64-bit Snapdragon 410 chip.

The Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 actually has four Cortex-A53 cores clocked ARM 1.2GHz. The HTC Desire 510 strenna and the new set of instructions ARMv8 and the new 64-bit architecture. In practice the contribution will initially almost zero, at least until a hypothetical update to the Android future L, version 4.4 currently in force taking advantage of any of these developments. The terminal still has the merit of giving impetus to the market, the consumer enjoying meanwhile improved energy efficiency, and therefore of enhanced autonomy.
The HTC Desire 510 is also a respectable but banal mid-range smartphone. It sports to begin a 4.7 inch screen displaying only 854 x 480 pixels, a poor resolution of about 210 pixels per inch. It has a front sensor to only 0.3 million pixels (VGA) and a back 5 million pixels can shoot in Full HD 1080p. The terminal finally include 1 GB of RAM, 8 GB of internal memory (with 4 available), expandable to 128 GB by microSD, a 4G LTE Category 4 (up to 150 Mb / s), and a removable battery 2100 mAh.
The HTC Desire 510 will be available in France in September for the tidy sum of 200 euros. HTC still has much on its image to overstate its products. The famous Motorola Moto G 4G, better equipped, for example is trading 180 euros.
