The Google+ network continues its strong growth and, seven months after its opening, is already approaching 100 million users.
Accompanied by a redesign of the layout Google sites and more recently a very thorough integration into the search engine, the Google+ network has wide promotion implemented by the Californian giant and the latter undeniably borne fruit.
In announcing the quarterly results, Larry Page, CEO and co-founder of Google, said: “I’m really happy for the growth of Android, Gmail and Google+, which now has a base of 90 million users worldwide. ” Mr. Page said that this figure has more than doubled since last quarter. Google also said that this base of online would be particularly active and 60% of them interact with other Google products every day.
The company then intends to continue to put Google+ at the center of its strategy and said that this year “we will create extraordinary interactions between our services.” In October of 2011, Google officially announced having gathered 40 million users on its network. The pace of growth seems to be accelerating and the recent integration of the latter in the search engine could help to continue this growth.
